Anti-hijacking training of Maritime Security Dept. of CSTG Sri Lanka branch has acquired the maritime security service qualification approved by International Maritime Organization. Each maritime security personnel must receive a three-month closed military training on merchant ships anti-hijacking, broadsword, bundled with escape, emergency response and intervention, international anti-piracy law, and BMP4 training to forge his operational proficiency, professional quality and working style. In addition, he also should pass a one-month maritime safety training at Republic of Korea for a specific skill certificate which most of counterparts don’t have.
